Colin Clark: former LA Galaxy midfielder passes away at 35
On Tuesday 27 August 2019, it was announced that Colin Clark had passed away. The 35-year-old midfielder played for the Colorado Rapids, Houston Dynamo and LA Galaxy.
The United States soccer world is mourning the loss of former MLS player Colin Clark who passed away at the age of 35.
Clark was a Colorado native who started his Major League Soccer career with the Colorado Rapids in 2006 before joining Houston Dynamo where he played from 2010 until 2012 when he transferred to Los Angeles Galaxy staying till his retirement in 2014.
During his eight-year career in the MLS, the midfielder made 138 appearances in which he started in 97 games, scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists.
Clark was once captain of the US men's national team when they faced Haiti in the 2009 Gold Cup.
