Real Madrid are going to win the Champions League 2019-20, according to a group of Big Data experts from Google, Opta and Squawka brought together by BT Sport.

According to their number crunching, Real Madrid will reclaim their European crown, beating Bayern Munich in the final 3-2. Zidane's team will have an incredibly high scoring run to the final too, beating Manchester City 7-5 in the last-16, Chelsea 4-2 in the quarter-finals and Barcelona 5-2 in the semi-finals. (Quite where these goals are going to come from may be a mystery to anyone who watched them against Valladolid...)

Meanwhile Bayern Munich will head to final beating Atlético Madrid in the last-16 3-1, PSG in the quarter-finals (3-2) and Juventus in the semi-finals 3-0.

The Big Data experts didn't stop at just the teams, with Messi becoming the first player to bag more than 10 hat-tricks (11) and Cristiano Ronaldo increasing the teams he's scored against in European Competition to 35, going past Raúl.
