Update:

Following Neymar's initial three match ban for abusing match officials at the conclusion of PSG's Champions League exit last season (March 6th v. Manchester United), the French side took their appeal to CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) where the Lausanne based organisation today reduced the ban for the Brazilian from three to two Champions League matches.

CAS ruled that the infringement of Article 15 (1) relating to abusive language directed at a match official was worthy of a two game ban.

The PSG striker will now just miss PSG's Champions League group stage opener against Real Madrid at Parc des Princes along with the match-day two game which sees the Ligue 1 side travel to Istanbul to face Galatasaray.
