Manuel Neuer discusses the chances of Pep Guardiola returning to Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer preferred to sit the fence when asked about the rumours concerning Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, who some say could return to the Munich-based club.

The question was put to Neuer who has worked under Guardiola during the Catalan's spell in Munich between 2013 and 2016.  "Sure, obviously I can’t really comment on the rumours and now we are here, on duty with the national team. It’s the first time I’ve heard about it. We’ll see what happens and is decided by those in charge," the keeper explained. "But as things are, everything seems to be going well. Over the last six days, Hansi Flick and his coaching team have been working very hard. We’ve won two games and the powers that be will make a decision about Guiardiola, if they think they want him for the job".
