Things are not well at Manchester United. Yesterday, the team were held to a 3-3 draw at Sheffield United - a result which leaves Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team ninth in the Premier League table and a eye-watering 20 points behind leaders Liverpool. Tensions boiled over in the VIP box at Bramall Lane and it was all caught on camera.
Sir Alex Ferguson was seen embroiled in a heated discussion with vice-president Ed Woodward. According to reports in the UK press, in a raised voice, the former United manager voiced criticism of how the team was being managed.
United fans turn on Woodward
The images were captured by television cameras and broadcast when the match was shown later on Sunday provoking a multitude of comments on social media. United fans have sided with Ferguson. "Woodward Out!", "Rule number 1 of the club - don't disappoint Sir Alex Ferguson".
