Castellón, current top dogs of Group III in the Segunda B division, are the only undefeated team of the first three tiers of Spanish football. With that in mind, they have decided to create the "Invictus" trophy and have thrown down the gauntlet to two of Europe's greatest clubs, Juventus and Liverpool.

Liverpool and Juventus challenged

As Serie A and Premier League leaders respectively, they too remain unbeaten at this stage of the campaign. The idea behind the amusing challenge is to see who maintains that run for the most games.

With the slogan "Cristiano, Salah, the challenge starts now," Castellón have posted a video on their social media, which stars their goalkeeper, Alvaro Campos, who explains the prize on offer.

He says that in the event that Juventus or Liverpool become the team with the longest unbeaten streak this season, they will receive the prize of a black and white Castellón shirt signed by all their players.

The video, inspired by popular series Game of Thrones, also points out that there are "three kings but only a single throne" and with "three historic fan bases."

Update: at the weekend Castellón lost 2-1 away to Barcelona B, while Juventus shared the points in a 2-2 draw with Sassuolo and Liverpool continued their incredible winning run against Brighton at Anfield.
