Takefusa Kubo was one of the protagonists in Saturday's game at Camp Nou. The Japanese player, who is on loan at Mallorca from Real Madrid, was whsitled by the home crowd every time he received the ball - in clear reference to his past at La Masía. But the teenager took it all in his stride and looked confident throughout the match - he was one of the best players for the visitors despite the result. Indeed, on 51 minutes, he nutmegged Leo Messi! "They are within their rights to whistle if they want. I made my decision [to join Real Madrid]", Take told Movistar after the game.

Difficult game: "We felt we started well but in the sixth minute, after a mistake, we were already behind. Conceding a goal so soon against a big side makes everything much harder".

Good individual performance: "Luckily, I was able to play the full 90 minutes. I did everything I could, but it wasn't enough".

Take Kubo on being whistled by Barcelona fans

Being whistled by Barcelona fans: "That's the fans' decision. I made my decision and they are within their rights to whistle me if they want to. In a way, I probably deserve it. In any case, there were some people who applauded me and that gave me strength".

How did it make you feel to be whistled by Camp Nou? "They see me as a rival, not as an 18-year-old kid who could be doing things more or less well. I'm happy with that".

Mallorca struggling away from home: "We struggled last week and again tonight. Now we will be facing Celta and we'll be trying to get something positive from that game".
