The last-16 ties are to be played in single-match format on Tuesday 28, Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 January; confirmation of the exact day and time of each clash should be out in the next few hours.

With that somewhat chaotic draw out of the way, we move on to the Copa del Rey. A reminder that the teams in the last-16 hat are:
Primera División: Athletic Bilbao, Barcelona, Granada, Leganés, Osasuna, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Sevilla, Valencia, Villarreal
Segunda División: Mirandés, Rayo Vallecano, Real Zaragoza, Tenerife
Segunda División B: Badajoz, Cultural Leonesa
First, the Segunda B sides will both be paired with a club from Primera, before the four Segunda teams are also given a tie with a top-flight club. After that, two all-Primera ties will be pulled out of the hat.

Unlike the Copa del Rey, the Copa de la Reina draw sees the eight home sides in each last-16 tie drawn out of the hat first.

How does the draw work?
As has been the case all the way through the competition, the draw will seek to pair lower-league clubs with top-tier sides, so the six Segunda and Segunda B outfits are all guaranteed a tie with a Primera club.
As ever, the lower-league club will be at home.
Once the six Segunda and Segunda B sides have come out of the hat, the four remaining Primera clubs will be drawn together for the two final ties.
Who's in the last-16 draw?
After all that, we're left with a last 16 comprising 10 clubs from Primera (eight top-flight sides have succumbed to lower-league opposition so far in the Copa) four from Segunda and two from Segunda B.

Madrid defeat spirited Salamanca
Meanwhile, Real Madrid had a slightly better time of it in Salamanca, but the 3-1 scoreline nevertheless failed to tell the whole story of a tie in which the hosts put up quite a fight against their big-name visitors.
Setién's side survive scare
In Quique Setién's second game in charge, Barça trailed for an hour and flirted dangerously with a major cup upset at Estadi Can Misses, before two late Antoine Griezmann goals - the second in time added on - rescued the Blaugrana from embarrassment.
Madrid and Barça edge through last-16 ties
Barcelona and Real Madrid both negotiated their third-round ties against Ibiza and Unionistas Salamanca, respectively, but neither had it their own way - particularly the Catalans...
Badajoz also beat the big boys as four Segunda sides go through
Cultural's fellow third-tier side Badajoz likewise upset the odds against Primera División opposition, ousting Eibar with a 3-1 victory on Thursday, while there were also wins over top-flight sides for Segunda clubs Mirandés, Tenerife, Rayo Vallecano and Real Zaragoza.
Cultural shock for Atleti
The top story, of course, is Cultural Leonesa's shock victory over LaLiga big boys Atlético Madrid. The Segunda B side stunned Diego Simeone's men at the Reino de León on Thursday night, coming from behind to win 2-1 after extra time, thanks to goals by Julen Castañeda and Sergio Benito.
Several top-flight sides downed in third round
Without the cushion of a second leg in which to get themselves out of jail, no fewer than six top-flight sides fell to lower-league clubs in the last 32 - and there were others that may have got through, but not without being given a real run for their money.
