How and where

Thinking of tuning in to Sunday's El Clásico ? Here's how/where to watch the game from Madrid.

BB

In case you missed it yesterday....Wuhan Zall invited by LaLiga and Madrid to watch El Clásico. The Chinese Super League side were carrying out pre-season in Spain and are unable to return to the city of Wuhan, the hub and origin of the Covid-19 virus.

Jovic

With his #ElClasico squad exclusion, Zinedine Zidane sends a clear message to striker Luka Jović.

Zidane

Zidane has never lost three in a row as manager of Real Madrid - a statistic he'll be keen to maintain on Sunday.

Here's confirmation of Real Madrid's squad for Sunday's game.

Lewis Hamilton gave his thoughts on the Clásico ahead of Sunday's game.

A bit of a surprise in Zinedine Zidane's Madrid squad for El Clásico: Mariano, who has played 44 minutes under the Frenchman this season, takes Luka Jovic's place in the matchday list.

Everyone is getting excited...

Zidane's Clásico puzzle... how will the Real Madrid boss set up against Barcelona in the Bernabéu?

We are still awaiting confirmation of Los Blancos' matchday squad although are not expecting any particular surprises.

Something that came out of Zidane's press conference earlier was about his choice to leave out Toni Kroos against Man City. The Frenchman says there is no need to over-analyse it...but accepted that the media would.

Here's confirmation of Barça's squad for El Clásico.

Barcelona's squad has been announced, with the good news for cules that both Jordi Alba and Gerard Piqué have been declared fit.

Barca

Setién will be making his debut in a Clásico on Sunday at the Bernabéu. We take a look at how the last five Barça managers before him fared on their first match against Real Madrid.

Luis Suárez, who has bagged 11 goals in Clásico action, won't be available for injury hit Barça at the Bernabéu but the Uruguayan gave a medical update during an interview with the club's in-house television station.

Who will be on the score sheet on Sunday? The last Clásico, at Camp Nou, ended 0-0, the first goalless draw between the sides in 17 years.

Meanwhile, Wuhan Zall, who are stranded in Spain and unable to return to their home base in China, have been invited to the match as guests of both sides.

Despite the spread of the coronavirus in Spain - and LaLiga putting in place a protocol should the health authorities decide to start placing restrictions on public gatherings - LaLiga chief Javier Tebas has said there is no chance of the game being postponed.

This will be Quique Setién's first taste of El Clásico, but the former Las Palmas and Betis boss has a decent record against Zinedine Zidane

Ramos

The current score is 72-all in Liga competition, with plenty on offer for the victors on Sunday. If Barça win, they'll go five points clear at the top. If Madrid are victorious, they will edge ahead in the title race by a point.
