Club America discusses Renato Ibarra’s situation
The Ecuadorian winger was involved in a domestic violence case and the team has finally spoken in a press release about his situation.
Club America used their social media accounts to release an official statement talking about the current situation of one of their players, Renato Ibarra, who was involved in a case of domestic violence.
The team said the following: “Last night we found out that our player was involved in a case of domestic violence. We are up to date with the situation, the authorities are currently handling the case of Renato Ibarra Mina and for the moment we can’t do anything until the investigation is over.”
“Club America doesn’t approve of any case of domestic violence. We want to thank the authorities for acting so quickly and we will let them do their job so this case can be solved as soon as possible.”
Ibarra. meanwhile, has denied any sort of physical altercation with his wife and said that he is cooperating with the authorities with the case. According to the Prosecutor of the City of Mexico there are four other people involved in this case besides Ibarra Mina after Lucely Chala and Ana Karen Chala reported the incident to the police.
