Gary Neville has made his feelings clear on British Prime Minister's Boris Johnson policies relating to the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the UK. Johnson is being advised by Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government of the United Kingdom Patrick Vallance and have decided against the closure of schools and universities as a measure to combat the spread of the virus.
The former Man United player and now football commentator posted a series of Tweets where he questioned Johnson's policies as his children are still obliged to attend school and upon seeing a heavily attended St. Patrick's day parade in Manchester.
"He's a charlatan"
He’s going to close schools in a few days anyway! He’s a charlatan! was the first of Neville's tweets.
The former Valencia manager then outlined a series of propasals he would like to see introduced as a measure which included: Sick Pay Guaranteed, Introduce Rent and Mortgage holidays, Put a Business Support package in place to protect employment and businesses. Make all private health care beds available for free. Communicate a clear strategy @BorisJohnson you must act now!
He concluded the message with an appeal for the British PM to 'act now' !
