Gianluigi Donnarumma's future is set to be resolved this summer with his contract at AC Milan set to expire in 2021. The Milanese side are now faced with the conundrum of selling the player and cashing in rather than see the keeper leave come June 30th (2021) when he will be a free agent. Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the goalkeeper will not renew his deal with Milan and a move to the English Premier League or Parisian giants PSG as potential destinations for the stopper.

Contract renewal unlikely

Milan are constructing a side for the future based on youthful talent. Donnarumma fits in perfectly with the ethos of the 'rossoneri' going forward and despite just being 21-years-old, the goalkeeper does command a salary of six million euro per season. Given the tense relationship between agent Raiola and Milan chief Ivan Gazidis, the general consensus is that the goalkeeper will be packing his bags come the summer months.

Premier or PSG

Gazzetta maintain that both Manchester clubs are interested in the stopper with it felt that, once again given tense relationships between Riola (who also represents Paul Pogba) and the Old Trafford outfit that the Sky Blues would be in pole position to bring the talented keeper to the Etihad stadium.

PSG could afford the wage demands and are looking for a stopper with a future. Despite his time playing at the top level, Donnarumma is still just 21-years-old and his moving to the French capital could crystallise loanee Areola staying with Real Madrid. A move to the French capital is expected to cost PSG between 20-25 million euro with it felt that the Italian would provide perfect competition for Costa Rican stopper Keylor Navas.
