Confirmed US coronavirus cases
As of 02:00 CEST (16:00 EDT, 13:00 PDT) on Saturday 4 April, there had been a total of 276,965 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the US, with 7,391 deaths. 12,283 people in the country have officially recovered after contracting Covid-19.
New York City, one of the zones which has been hit hardest by the Covid-19 pandemic, has recorded almost half of the total death toll and by the end of Friday was close to reaching 3,000.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide at the above time stood at 1,097,810. In total, 59,140 people have died from Covid-19, while 228,405 have recovered from the disease.
