Confirmed UK coronavirus cases

As of 02:40 BST (03:40 CEST) on Sunday 5 April, there had been 42,479 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK, with 4,320 deaths in total. A total of 215 individuals have officially recovered from Covid-19.

Worldwide coronavirus cases

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide at the above time stood at 1,197,405. In total, 64,703 people have died from Covid-19, while 246,198 have recovered from the disease.
