Confirmed UK coronavirus cases

As of 01:30 GMT (02:30 CEST) on Wednesday 8 April, there had been 55,949 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK, with 6,171 deaths in total. A total of 325 individuals have officially recovered from Covid-19.

Worldwide coronavirus cases

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide at the above time stood at 1,426,096. In total, 81,865 people have died from Covid-19, while 300,054 have recovered from the disease.
