Ian White set for Luke Littler third round clash at ‘Ally Pally’
Littler’s road to the 2025 PDC World Championship title sees a third round match against Ian White.


Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler has been the main talking point again this year at Alexandra Palace, the setting for the 2025 PDC World Championship as he looks to go one stage further than his 2024 final defeat.
The teenager set a tournament record with a 140.91 set average as he secured a second-round win in the PDC World Championship with a 3-1 victory over fellow Englishman Ryan Meikle on Saturday.

Tournament favourite Littler bagged four maximum 180s while winning three consecutive legs in 11, 10, and 11 darts, setting a record set average and finishing with an overall average of 100.85.
“It was probably the toughest game I’ve ever played. I had to fight until the end,” Littler said in front of 3,000 fans at Alexandra Palace.

Next up for Luke
The Runcorn born player now will face Ian White who hails from the same town in the third round with the tie earmarked for 28 December and will be the final game of a three-card bill with proceedings in North London set to commence at 7:30 pm (local time).

Littler was recently been voted best young sports personality and second in the general vote in the BBC Sportsman of the Year awards and is the firm favourite to take the darts crown this year at ‘Ally Pally’.
