Several fake body bags were lined up outside the Central Park hotel on Saturday, which appeared to have been made out of trash bags and tape. Attached to these bags were notes from the protesters which read: "THIS REPRESENTS IMMIGRANTS WHO DIED OF COVID-19 IN ICE CUSTODY" and "TRUMP = DEATH".

The protest happened just hours after the president ripped into the Democrat party on Twitter. In a series of tweets, Trump wrote: "No matter what you do for the Do Nothing Democrats, no matter how GREAT a job you are doing, they will only respond to their Fake partners in the Lamestream Media in the negative, even in a time of crisis. I thought it would be different, but it’s not. In fact, it’s even worse..."

The United States is currently the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic with more than 780,000 confirmed cases and over 42,000 victims. Donald Trump said last week he wants to reopen the economy and end the quarantine period but many experts don’t believe that’s a good idea right now as it could start a rapid spread of the virus once again.

Trump’s emphasis on ending the quarantine period has caused a lot of conflict among the public and politicians who are mostly against the idea of sending everyone back to the streets. Also, many think Trump didn’t act quickly when the coronavirus cases started to increase, with even the White House health expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, saying that if the quarantine was established sooner the country would have fewer confirmed cases.
