Alessandro Del Piero hospitalized with Kidney Stones

It was the former Juventus player who posted a picture on his social media informing everyone he has been hospitalized to get his kidney stones removed.

Alessandro Del Piero decided to use his social media to confirm that he was battling against kidney stones for some time now and he was admitted in the hospital this past weekend. The former Juventus star decided to retire from football in 2014 and he last played in India with Delhi Dynamos

‘'I still can’t believe something 3mm small can hurt that much. I still can’t believe something only 3mm small can hurt that much,” wrote Del Piero. It was reported that his family is hoping for Del Piero to recover quickly so he can continue his daily activities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 45-year-old went to a hospital in Los Angeles, California and in the picture he posted he explained that he was going through a lot of pain. Del Piero has been living in L.A. for some time now where he decided to open up football academies and a restaurant called N.10 located in the heart of the city.

The Italian midfielder had a successful career as a footballer winning 14 major titles in Juventus where he played most of his career and his most important trophy was the 2006 World Cup.
