After travelling to Milan on Sunday night, Vidal went to the headquarters of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) early on Monday morning.

Arturo Vidal underwent a medical on Monday morning prior to completing his signing for Inter, which is very close to being made official.

After travelling to Milan on Sunday night, Vidal went to the Milanese headquarters of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) to undergo his medical tests and then went to the Humanitas clinic.

Vidal will work under head coach Antonio Conte, with whom he has already shared a dressing room with in his time at Juventus. The Chilean midfielder will sign a two-year contract with the option of a third season in the next few hours, according to the Italian media. His two-year stint at Barcelona, with whom he won the 2019 Spanish League, comes to an end.

Vidal wanted to say goodbye to Barcelona after two years, where he became an important figure for the club, both on the pitch and in the dressing room. Messages have been circulating online from players like Messi, Suárez and Jordi Alba. A well-respected and appreciated member of the sqaud, he was grateful for what he experienced at the Catalan club and reaffirmed that Barça "will always be in his heart".
