This year’s deals will be particularly popular with the date pushed back to 13-14 October in the US and Canada; giving you an early opportunity to snap up some Christmas bargains.
Only Amazon Prime members are able to take advantage of Prime Day bargains but you can sign up for a 30-day trial for free today. Just remember to cancel your membership within the next month and you won't be charged.
Here’s our pick of some of the hottest products with the biggest savings…

Cooking
If you’re looking for something to make your life that little bit easier this winter than look no further than the Instant Pot Ultra 10 in 1, which is as close to a personal chef as you can get for 50 bucks. The stainless steel machine can function as (deep breath) a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, yogurt maker, cake maker, egg cooker, sauté, steamer, warmer, and sterilizer. And at nearly 60% off, it’s unbelievable value.
The Instant Pot has you sorted for dinner but anyone with hungry mouths to feed to in the morning might be looking for an alternative to the usual bowl of cereal. What better way to start the day than by whipping up a batch of waffles with the Dash Mini Maker, available in a whole host of cool colours. At just $10, the smell of freshly-cooked waffles in the morning has never been easier.
Headphones
Any music fans will testify to the importance of a good set of headphones and Prime Day could be the perfect opportunity to pick up a top pair at a great price.
Apple AirPods have been the most popular wireless in-ear headphones since their release in 2016 and Amazon are now offering a great deal on them. Usually priced at $159 they are now available for just $115 thanks to a 28% Prime Day reduction. They come with active noise cancelling, easy setup to all Apply devices and a charging case to ensure that you're never caught without battery.
If you like the sound of immersive earbuds but aren’t sold on Apple’s offering then Amazon’s own Echo Buds could be the ones for you. They boast active noise reduction for those with loud commutes and come with built-in Alexa to make heads-free navigation a doddle. Don’t worry about forgetting to charge them because just 15 minutes of Quick Charge gives you two hours of playback time. With $50 off there’s never been a better time to go wireless.
Laptops
Whether you’re working from home or surfing on the sofa a top-spec portable laptop can make all the difference and Apple’s MacBook Air is about as good as it gets. The 2020 13-inch edition comes with 8GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, a Backlit Magic Keyboard and Touch ID and, best of all, there’s $100 off.
If you’re going to be out and about and battery life is your main concern then look no further than the LG Gram laptop with a stunning 21 hours of battery life. It boasts a tenth-gen Core i5 processor and a 512GB SSD, and Prime users can get it with over $350 off the usual price!
