Tsygankov and Bushchan hand Ukraine victory over Spain
Ukraine vs Spain live: as it happened
We'll leave you with the Group 4 table after tonight's action. Thanks for joining us!
And it has ended 3-3 in Cologne. That's one win in eight Nations League games for Germany now as Switzerland put three past Joachim Löw's side.
And that's it! Ukraine have done it! It's a famous victory for Shevchenko and his side!
Last chance for Spain... Adama concedes a foul and that is probably that.
Zubkov looks for the foul in midfield and finally finds it as Spanish pressure floors him. Ukraine doing everything right at the moment to protect this lead.
Olmo flattens Yarmolenko and Ukraine in no hurry to take this...
Cleared, but Ramos feels he was impeded. The ref, who has been no-nonsense all evening, calmly waves the complaint away.
Corner for Spain....
Four minutes added!
Bushchan again! Olmo lofts the ball towards Ramos but the Ukraine keeper is out to grab it before the Spain captain can get a head on it.
A few minutes for Ukraine to hang on... Spain coming forward with everything now. Shevchenko ordering his side to keep it tight and look for a break.
Ramos! Over the bar as well! Adama again with the cross, Ramos controls on his chest and hammers a left-footed shot at goal but it sails high! The Real Madrid defender is playing as a forward now.
Olmo! High from the midfielder when he should have done better... another chance for Spain but they have yet to make one count.
Ramos pushes up to drive Spain forward but Ukraine do not look like they are going to let this lead slip without a scrap.
Adama drives to the byline again and crosses but Bushchan plucks it from the air. The Ukraine keeper has had a fantastic game this evening.
Olmo! The Leipzig midfielder has a clear sight of goal but Mykolenko appears out of nowhere and throws himself in to block.
Spain haven't been beaten since November 2018, when Croatia ran out 3-2 winners in the Nations League in Zagreb.
Now Ukraine are looking to take the edge of the game by keeping the ball but Spain are pressing hard and come again through Navas, whose cross is straight at Bushchan.
It's route one stuff as Bushchan hoofs it out, it gets a flick on, Yarmolenko feeds substitute Viktor Tsygankov with a glorious ball and the Dynamo Kiev midfielder races onto the pass and fires past De Gea! It was a beautiful effort from the 22-year-old.
Sergio Canales heads off after a decent game to be replaced by Dani Olmo, winning his 5th cap this evening.
Bushchan again! He's man of the match for sure! The keeper denies Torres this time at his near post! Corner for Spain...
Oyarzabal! The La Real forward is one-on-one with Bushchan and the Ukraine keeper makes another vital save!
Great work from Reguilón, who finds Oyarzabal, but the Real Sociedad man, playing as a false nine, can't get the ball out from under his feet and the chance goes begging.
Spain are starting to push Ukraine back now but the home side are extremely tight when not in possesion and are stifling most of the visitors' attacking verve.
Viktor Tsygankov is on for Ukraine, the 22-year-old earning his fifth cap this evening.
It finds its way out to Rodri and and the Manchester City man drives forward and shoots, but his effort is just wide.
Corner for Spain...
Meanhile, in Cologne, it's 3-3 between Germany and Switzerland!
De Gea and Navas combine to deny Zubkov on the left. The Ferencváros winger has really got his tail up now.
Viktor Kovalenko on for Ukraine, Sydorchuk off. An attacking change from Shevchenko...
Double change from Luis Enrique. Ansu makes way for Ferrán Torres and Oyarzabal comes on for Rodrigo.
Poor from Ansu this time though as his low cross finds the first yellow shirt.
Adama rides three challenges before Shaparenko uses his shoulder to flatten the Wolves man. Free kick.
Ramos concedes a corner as Ukraine turn the screw... Makarenko rises above the defence but he is called offside as he watches his header drift wide.
Spain suddenly on the back foot here... Ukraine are making all the running at the start of the second half.
Ukraine with another penalty shout! Yarmolenko goes down a little too easily after a cheeky backheel from Yaremchuk but the ref is not having any of that.
We rather thought Ukraine might sit back a bit in this half but the home side fancy this one now! They come forward again and Pau Torres is pressured into conceding a throw.
And Ukraine almost have the lead! A decent move finds Zubkov but the Ferencváros man scuffs his shot wide from a couple of yards out! What a horrible miss!
We're back underway! Dani Ceballos is on for Mikel Merino.
Almost 80 percent possession for Spain in the opening 45 and 10 attempts (four on target) but Ukraine have kept the visitors at bay so far.
And that's the half! It remains goalless at half time and given results elsewhere we perhaps shouldn't expect Ukraine to be too expansive after the break.
Ukraine penalty shout! Yaremchuk waves furiously as his cross thumps into Sergio Ramos but the ball clearly hits the Spain captain's leg.
This is how Group 4 looks as things stand.
Reguilón lets young Dinamo Kiev defender Illya Zabarnyi know he's there and Ukraine win a free kick.
Karavayev reads a Canales ball to Ansu well and cuts out the danger. Ukraine have managed to keep the effervescent Barça forward mostly under wraps in this first half.
Spain pushing again with Navas conducting things on the right but Ukraine are tough to break down. Merino finally decides to have a punt but Bushchan has it covered easily.
Oleksandr Zubkov gives Jesús Navas twisted blood with some glorious footwork and Ukraine appeal for a penalty as the Ferencváros forward goes down! It looked as though Navas may have got the slightest of touches but it would have been a bit harsh in fairness.
Canales! A lovely move from Spain finds its way to the feet of the Betis midfielder but he pulls his shot just wide of the near post.
in tonight's other Group 4 game, Switzerland are currently 2-1 up at home against Germany.
Rodrigo has another sniff from Reguilón's cross but can't get his head on it. Ukraine have offered little in attack so far but are keeping it fairly tight at the back.
Adama uses his speed to Mykolenko on the turf and wins a corner as he is bundled off the ball on the byline.
Ukraine hoist a ball over the top for Yaremchuk to chase but De Gea is out quickly to head clear.
It's taken short and eventually worked to Vitaliy Mykolenko but the defender's header is bread and butter for De Gea.
Ukraine win a first corner of the game...
Ramos clearly fancies his chances this evening as he lets loose from distance but this one is rising all the way and flies over. The Spain captain did bag a couple in the 4-0 win in the reverse fixture.
Ramos appeals for a penalty as Yarmolenko appears to handle but the ref is having none of it.
Ramos! The captain hits a free kick from distance and it's creeping in the top corner before Bushchan gets across to claw it to safety! What a save from the Dynamo Kiev stopper.
Great work from Rodrigo but his pull back fails to find a red shirt and Ukraine hack it clear.
Rodrigo! Ansu delivers after a short corner from Canales and the number nine meets it on the penalty spot but glances his header wide. That's three decent chances for Spain in the opening 15 minutes.
Ansu! The Barça forward is through but hits his shot straight at Bushchan, who makes the save at his near post. Corner to Spain, cleared on the far side for another go...
Yaremchuk attempts to thunder through the Spain back line but the Ghent striker is crowded out by Navas and Pau Torres.
Adama is getting plenty of joy out of finding the byline on the right. His cross is cleared as far as Navas, who puts in a lovely cross for Rodrigo. The Leeds striker gets his shot on target but Bushchan makes the save for a corner
A reminder of the home side's line-up.

There are some 15,000 fans in the stadium this evening but they sound like 50,000 whenever Ukraine look like getting towards David de Gea's goal.
Adama does well to hook a cross to the far post but Ansu is never going to beat the Ukraine back four for height. The home side threaten a break but Rodri is alert to the danger and wins the ball back.
Eduard Sobol chases a long ball on the left but the Club Brugge defender would have needed Adama's pace to reach that. Goal kick.
Free kick to Spain as Adama is hauled back but the Ukraine defence stands firm again and thumps it clear.
Rodri tries to feed a ball to Ansu but the Ukraine defence reads it like a book and cuts the pass out with little fuss.
Luis Enrique is screaming at somebody on the touchline and he looks very displeased indeed as the object of his vocal exertions completely ignores him.
Spain have made a slow, cautious start and the home side are yet to have a touch as the visitors stroke it about looking for an opening.
Rodri gets the ball rolling in Kiev!
The pleasantries are underway in the centre circle and we're about to get underway!
Here we go with the national anthems... they've wheeled out a grand piano to do the honours! Never seen that before. Nice touch.
Cristiano Ronaldo tests positive for coronavirus
In other Nations League news, Portugal will have to manage without Cristiano Ronaldo when they host Sweden tomorrow evening as the Juventus star has withdrawn from the squad after testing positive for coronavirus.
Kroos reaches a century for Germany
In tonight's other Group 4 game Germany host Switzerland in Cologne where Toni Kroos is set to make his 100th appearance for his country.
Even so, the Spain boss has made it perfectly clear that experience won't guarantee Busquets a place at Euro 2020.
Between them, vice-captain Busquets and captain Ramos have 293 caps between them - the entire remainder of Luis Enrique's current squad can muster just 215 in total.
Talking of the old guard, only Navas, Ramos and Sergio Busquets remain from the Spain squad that won Euro 2012 in the Olimpiyskiy Stadium. Jordi Alba would also be on that list but the Barcelona man is out injured.
Ukraine starting XI confirmed
Shevchenko has named his XI with 18-year-old centre-back Ilya Zabarnyi retaining his place: Bushchan; Karavaev, Zabarnyi, Mykolenko , Sobol; Sydorchuk, Makarenko, Shaparenko; Yarmolenko, Yaremchuk, Zubkov.
What with injuries, withdrawals and red card suspensions, Shevchenko has an entire XI of players unavailable for this evening's game.
Spain starting XI confirmed
Luis Enrique has confirmed his starting line-up with Ansu and Adama Traoré retaining their places in support of Rodrigo. Rodri, Canales and Merino will form the midfield with Sergio Ramos marshalling from the back alongside fellow old-timer Jesús Navas.
NATIONS LEAGUE | SPAIN 1-0 SWITZERLAND
Luis Enrique cheers Spain win: "There was nothing that I didn't like"
Luis Enrique said after the Switzerland game that there was "nothing" he didn't like and lamented a cuttnig egde in front of goal. In the reverse fixture between these sides Spain won 4-0 and Ukraine were on the wrong end of a 7-1 drubbing by France last week so the La Roja boss will be looking for a few goals this evening to end the international break in style.
Spain edge Switzerland to stay top of Nations League group
Spain have not exactly been firing under Luis Enrique of late, edging Switzerland 1-0 at the weekend and chalking up a goalless draw against Portugal prior to that. However, La Roja are a transitional side with few of the old guard remaining. In Ansu Fati and Adama Traoré, with the likes of Ferrán Torres, Dani Olmo, Sergio Canales, Eric Garcia, Pau Torres, Rodri and Mikel Oyarzabal coming through, hopes are high for the next generation.
