Monaco vs PSG: how and where to watch - times, TV, online
All the information you need to know on how and where to watch the Monaco vs PSG Ligue 1 match at Stade Louis II (Monaco) on 20 November at 21:00 CET.
Meanwhile the visitors had an impressive winning streak before the international break, with victories in their last eight Ligue 1 matches (26 goals scored, just one conceded). Their last defeat in the league came against Olympique Marseille in September.
The underdogs will try to surprise European-focused PSG
Les Monegasques won’t have goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte for the match, with a hand injury, so Vito Mannone will start in between the sticks, while midfielder Aleksandr Golovin is unavailable due to a hamstring problem.
Ruben Aguilar will also miss out, due to suspension, so the 27 year old full-back, who recently earned his first cap for the French national team, will likely be replaced by Djibril Sidibé.
Wissam Ben Yedder, one of several players who tested positive for coronavirus, was unable to play for France and will also be unavailable for the match.
Neymar and Mbappé are back
As for PSG, the concern will be on the two main stars of the team: Neymar and Kylian Mbappé. They could both return to the team line-up against Monaco, but Thomas Tuchel is well aware that the Parisian outfit have a crucial midweek game against German powerhouses Leipzig in Champions League.
However, the chances of seeing the pair featuring from the start seem remote, as coach Thomas Tuchel, very criticised lately due to the team’s performance in Europe, admitted that “we know it is a very tricky situation in our Champions League group, and we certainly want to win against Leipzig”.
PSG's Tuchel, cautious
Tuchel also said that Mbappé is back in shape, while Neymar’s fitness is more uncertain “because he didn’t play for Brazil and he didn’t do the full training session on Wednesday”.
PSG will not want to rely heavily on Marquinhos, Leandro Paredes and Ángel Di Maria, as all of them have been in South America for 2022 World Cup Qualifiers and Tuchel need them to be ready for next Tuesday.
At the same time, though, Tuchel will need to deal with the long list of unavailable players for the match against Monaco: Mauro Icardi, Julian Draxler, Idrissa Gueye, Thilo Kherer and Juan Bernat are all sidelined.
