All the information you need to know on how and where to watch Real Madrid host Elche at Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano (Madrid) on 13 March at 16:15 CET.

Real Madrid vs Elche: as it happened

Real Madrid will be looking to keep their LaLiga hopes alive by adding another three points against Elche at home on Saturday.

The visitors, now outside the relegation zone, will try to get a positive result at the Alfredo Di Stéfano, boosted by their victory over Sevilla in their last match. If you are in the US you can tune in on Fanatiz.

Traditionally Los Blancos have enjoyed going head-to-head with Elche - their last defeat to them was back in 1978.

One eye on the Champions League

Zidane is well aware of how important it is to get the three points at home besides winning or getting positive results away or against top contenders, especially as the hard-fought draw against Atlético Madrid will feel like a loss if they don’t get past Fran Escribà’s men.

But Madrid are facing a very important week, as they need to win to keep their chances in the domestic competition, but also have to focus on their midweek Champions League second leg match against Atalanta.

Another David that will become Goliath at the Di Stéfano?

Another factor to take into account is that the hosts have suffered a lot against weaker opposition this season at home: Cádiz, Levante and Alavés have defeated the current LaLiga champions at the Di Stéfano.

Zidane’s men are sitting third in the standings, with 54 points (16 wins, six draws and four defeats), two behind eternal rivals Barcelona and eight behind leaders Atlético.

Elche are currently 17th in the table with 24 points (with one game in hand), only two more than Eibar and Alavés, in the relegation zone, and four more than Huesca, the last-place competitor.

Ramos and Hazard are back, Rigoni out for Elche

This time Zidane will be able to call upon the majority of his squad. Sergio Ramos and Eden Hazard have overcome their injuries and are ready to play.

However, Mariano Díaz and Dani Carvajal will both likely be unavailable due to injury.

As for the visitors, Escribà won’t probably make many changes from the starting XI that beat Sevilla. Emiliano Rigoni will miss out the match due to a hamstring injury.
