The second Clásico of the LaLiga season has been scheduled for Saturday 10 April at 21:00 CET. Real Madrid will host Barcelona the weekend after Easter in week 30 of domestic action in a game that could prove decisive in determining the destination of the 2020-21 Liga title. Atlético remain top but a recent downturn in results has allowed Barcelona and Madrid to close the gap on Diego Simeone’s side to four and seven points respectively.

The date of the Clásico will also have some bearing on Real Madrid’s Champions League aspirations with the game falling between the two legs of the quarter-finals, which are due to be played on 6-7 and 13-14 April. Zinedine Zidane’s side will find out who their opponent will be when the draw for the last eight is held in Nyon on Friday.

On the weekend of the Clásico, Atlético face a potentially tricky trip to play Betis in Seville on Sunday 11 April.
