Mexico national team arrive in Cardiff ahead of first friendly of 2021
The Mexico men’s national football team will face Wales and Costa Rica in the FIFA international break of March.

The Mexican national football team has arrived in Cardiff ahead of their first exhibition game of the year against Wales in Cardiff City stadium on 27 March. The coach Gerardo Martino called 13 players from various Liga MX clubs, 8 from Europe, 4 from Major League Soccer and one from Qatar.

The first friendly during the FIFA International break of March will be against Wales and the second one against Costa Rica on 30 March at the Stadion Wiener Neustadt. On Sunday night the players from the Liga MX joined the rest of the squad who arrived at Cardiff on during the weekend and they held their first training session on Monday.

The Mexican national team unveiled their new third kit on Monday morning and the one they will be using during this international break. The new kit is black with pink patterns and the first one to use it will be the Mexican youth national team when they face the United States on Wednesday in the last match of the group stage of the CONCACAF men’s Olympic qualifying tournament in Guadalajara, Mexico.
