Ramkalawan: Al Bayt Stadium is a masterpiece; Qatar is organizing an extraordinary World Cup
Wavil Ramkalawan, President of the Republic of Seychelles, visited the Al Bayt World Cup Stadium in the city of Al Khor.
During his current visit to Qatar, Ramkalawan and his delegation were accompanied by Hassan Al Thawadi, general secretary of The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy responsible for managing the projects related to the Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022, together with Nasser Al Khater, executive president of the Qatar 2022 tournament, and Mohamed Al Amin Ahmed, director of the Al Bayt Stadium project, who took the guests on a tour of the venue, where they learned about the facilities and services provided at the stadium. Ramkalawan also took a walk around the VIP rooms, the main stands, and the hotel rooms offering impressive services.
For his part, Ramkalawan commended the progress achieved at the World Cup facilities in Qatar, as well as the intensive preparations, which shows that there the country is preparing an edition of the World Cup like none other that has gone before.
Hailing Al Bayt Stadium as a masterpiece, Ramkalawan praised the work carried out at the venue, noting that as the stands are very close to the field, there will be a wonderful atmosphere during the World Cup games at the stadium.
In addition, the president praised the intense preparations of the Qatari team, especially through their participation in the European qualifiers, and wished them luck in the tournament competitions and that they have a decent performance.
