NCAA Final Four 2021: which teams will play the first semi-final?
The two teams who will contest Monday's NCAA championship game are to be decided in the Final Four of March Madness 2021 on Saturday.
NCAA Final Four, semi-final one: Baylor Bears vs Houston Cougars
The first semi-final of the 2021 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament, better known as March Madness, sees the Baylor Bears face the Houston Cougars.
Houston were finalists in 1983 and 1984, but are yet to win an NCAA title. Kelvin Sampson’s men qualified for the Final Four by beating Oregan State 67-61 in the Elite Eight.
Runners-up in 1948, Baylor are also still waiting for their first NCAA championship; indeed, this is the first time they’ve made it to the Final Four since way back in 1950.
They sealed their semi-final return with an 81-72 Elite Eight victory over Arkansas.
UCLA or Gonzaga await in NCAA final
The winners of the clash between Baylor and Houston will meet either the UCLA Bruins or the Gonzaga Bulldogs in Monday's NCAA championship game.

The 2021 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament semi-final between the Baylor Bears and the Houston Cougars will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, on Saturday 3 April 2021, and will tip off at 5:14 pm EDT (2:14 pm PDT).
