Space Jam 2 A New Legacy: Official trailer and release date for Lebron James movie
The trailer for Space Jam 2 featuring LA Lakers star LeBron has generates a wave of interest ahead of the film's 16 July release date.

Michael Jordan was the star of the Warner Bros. 1996 live action/animated film where the Chicago Bulls legend stared alongside Bugs Bunny and a host of Looney Tunes characters in defeating a group of aliens in a grudge basketball match. The film was a huge success at the time and grossed over 230 million dollars internationally despite mixed reviews by critics.

Fast forward to 2021 and for the sequel: Space Jam 2 (A New Legacy) this time the key basketball personality is LeBron James with the Lakers star once again teaming up with a series of Looney Tunes characters (Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn...) as with LeBron's help, they need to win a basketball game against a rogue artificial intelligence (played by Don Cheadle) in order to escape a virtual reality and rescue LeBron's screen son.

The film was produced on a budget of over 180 million dollars and will get a US release of 16 July with HBO Max subscribers also being able to access the film via their account for a month.
