Follow all the action live from the National Championship game, as Gonzaga play Baylor.
One of the best endings to one of the best basketball games in March Madness history. The Gonzaga Bulldogs are on to the National Championship after a buzzer beating half court shot from Jalen Suggs.
This game was the polar opposite of the first semifinal player earlier today. The Bruins and the Bulldogs were in an offensive slug fest from the start to the finish. It was a game full of lead changes and ties as niether team could pull away from the other.
Gonzaga were led by Drew Timme with 25 points and Joel Ayayi with 22. While UCLA's Johnny Juzang put in another dazzling shift with 29 points.
But it is Jalen Suggs who will take the headlines with game winner that will go down in basketball history. After regulation wasn't enough to decide a winner, Gonzaga pulled away in the early part of overtime.
But the Bruins battled back and tied the game in the final moments. Suggs heaved up a prayer from just over half court, banked it off the glass, and called game, set, match.

Gonzaga name origin
In the more pressing off the court questions, one which comes up time and again is where does the name Gonzaga come from?
The University is a private Jesuit, Catholic institution, based in Spokane, Washington, and is named after the Italian Jesuit Saint, St Aloysius Gonzaga. The University was founded by Father Joseph Cataldo, back in 1887, and he chose to name it after his fellow Jesuit and Italian, St. Aloysius.
Gonzaga is actually a pretty well known name in Italy, but it’s fairly rare in the US. In fact the name is rare enough that Jimmy Kimmel is convinced there is no such University and the whole thing is a hoax.
GONZAGA: How did they get here?
Widely considered the favorite by most experts and non experts in the basketball world, the Gonzaga Bulldogs have rolled through their opponents all year long.
They are undefeated this year, and have won their last 27 games by double digit margins. They have steam rolled through the tournament, defeating Norfolk State in the first round, then Oklahoma, and then Creighton and USC last weekend to stamp their ticket to the Final Four. Their closest game in the tournament was a 16 point win against Oklahoma in the second round.
Corey Kispert and Drew Timme are the two to watch tonight. Kispert will be trying to cement his case for player of the year honors while Timme will hope to continue to make headlines, the Bulldog big man is averaging 21 points and 7.5 rebounds a game.
Gonzaga are in their second Final Four ever, but this is the first time they are considered the favorites to take the title.
UCLA: How did they get here?
The Bruins have had the longest journey to the Final Four of any team in history.
They came into the tournament as an 11 seed after an unconvincing regular season, and were then knocked out of the Pac 10 Tournament by Oregon State.
After knocking out Michigan State in the First Four Match (before the tournament was narrowed down to 64 teams) they went on to beat 2 seed Alabama and 1 seed Michigan to earn their spot in the Final Four.
They have been led all year long by the sharp shooter Johnny Juzang who had more than half his teams points in the shooting Elite 8 match against the Wolverines. Juzang and company will look to give the Bruins their 12th National Championship in school history.
