Right after Mayweather lost his cool during a promotional event with Jake Paul, younger brother to Logan Paul, the UFC champ sent the boxer a message.

Last Thursday, Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul had their first press event in Miami to promote their upcoming exhibition match taking place on June 6th. Unfortunately, things between the boxer and YouTuber got out of hand when the younger Paul, Jake, grabbed "Money's" hat and ran with it across the meet.

It is not clear yet, but some reports claimed that after this incident, Jake would not be allowed to sit at the stadium and root for his older brother at the request of Mayweather.

McGregor incites Floyd to fight a professional fighter

It seems the episode between boxing legend and online star struck a chord with the UFC champ. The Irishman took to Twitter and Instagram to let Mayweather know that he should fight a professional fighter with some experience.

"Whatever way you spin this, it's sad. Fight someone for real, on your record, or fuck off, mate." said McGregor on Instagram.

Logan Paul has only fought twice and has never won.

Open wounds

The rivalry between McGregor and Mayweather is well known worldwide. They fought in 2017 in a boxing bout that the Irishman lost by technical knockout. And although McGregor has mentioned on various occasions wanting to fight the American and get revenge for their last outing, we will not likely see them in the ring any time soon.

Mayweather has ignored the interest and seems more focused on exhibition matches, where he has stated in the past that he stands to make a lot more money than with professional fights.

Something McGregor doesn't believe. The Irishman seems to think that Mayweather is afraid of losing his perfect 50-0 record if he fights other more prepared boxers.
