Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr tickets: cost, when and where to buy
Expect to pay top prices for the showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Errol Spence Jr which will take place at a venue to be determined on 21 August.
The announcement of Manny Pacquiao's welterweight title showdown with Errol Spence Jr set for late summer has generated great expectation. It will be Pacquiao’s first fight since his split decision win over Keith Thurman in July 2019. That win made Pac-Man the first four-time welterweight champion, but he was stripped of that WBA strap in January due to inactivity.

Spence, 31, goes into the clash as the bookies' favourite. He has successfully defended his IBF belt five times since winning it in May 2017 with a knockout of Kell Brook. He added the WBC title with a split decision over Shawn Porter in September 2019. He was inactive for over a year after ending up in intensive care with serious facial injuries after flipping his Ferrari in Dallas in October of that year. He returned to the ring with a unanimous decision win over Danny Garcia in December 2020.
Both the fighters are expected to take home a huge paycheck for the bout. It has been suggested that Pacquiao will receive a bigger payment than he received for his last fight two years ago – somewhere around the $20 million mark although he will give much of that to his Foundation and other charities.
Two possible venues for the Pacquiao-Spence fight
As of the moment, no venue has been confirmed for the fight but it will likely be one of the larger arenas in Las Vegas, such as the MGM Grand Garden Arena which hosted The Dream Fight between Pacquiao and Oscar De la Hoya in December 2008 and also his match against Floyd Mayweather in May 2015. The T-Mobile Arena which has a slightly larger capacity (17,367) and like the MGM Grand, will be available ahead of the third week in August. It hosted UFC fights and will stage UFC 264: Poirier vs McGregor on 10 July. Ticket prices for that event range from $760 to up to $9500 for a ringside seat and can be bought directly from the venue box office or through their website or through ticket sales companies such as AXS, Ticketmaster, StubHub or ticketbud.
Tickets for the event will go on sale once the venue is confirmed, which could be later this week.
