Bucks demolish the Heat after Game 1 thriller

After a thriller on Saturday, Milwaukee  put the game out of reach before the first quarter came to a close. The Heat may have been drained from losing the overtime thriller to open the series, but the way the Bucks shot it tonight it would have been tough for Miami to beat the Bucks even on a good night.

Hot first quarter from downtown

The Bucks came out firing, hitting 10-15 three pointers and built a 25 point lead in the first quarter.  In Game 1 the Bucks shot just 5-21 from beind the arc, tonight they made up for lost time. Bryn Forbes came off the bench and lit up the scoreboard hitting four threes and dropping 14 points in the first quarter

Milwaukee's record setting night

Milwaukee led by 26 points after the first quarter, tying an NBA playoff record for biggest lead after first quarter. They also set a franchise record with 10 threes in the first quarter.

The lead for the Bucks crept up to as many as 30 in the first half as the Heat were no where to be found in tonights Game 2. The second half was more than comfortable Milwaukee who kept a 30 point advantage

Giannis lead the way after Forbes put of a show

Giannis Antetokounmpo was tonight’s top scorer with 31 points to go along with his 13 rebounds. The story of the night was Bryn Forbes. The sharpshooter dropped five threes in the first half, and finished with 22 points after getting all but three of those in the opening two quarters.

Butler MIA in first two games

Dewayne Dedmon was the leading scorer for the Heat, who came out flat after a demoralizing loss on Saturday. Dragic followed with another solid game off the bench, scoring 18. Jimmy Butler’s woes continued tonight. He was a non factor in Game 2 and the Heat have seen their star struggle in the early part of this series.

Both teams pack up and head to Miami for Game 3 on Saturday afternoon. It won’t be an elimination game for the Heat, but it will certainly be considered a must win for the fate of their playoff future.

The Forum will be at 50% capacity tonight. It will be loud, despite the limited crowd in Milwaukee

We are 15 minutes away from tip off here at Fiserv Forum

Giannis is averaging 23 points and 11 rebounds in the his playoff career

According to Bet365.com the Bucks are a 5 point favorite in tonight's game, the the over under set at 224

Giannis injured his elbown after colliding with Bam on a screen midway thorugh the fourth quarter. The Greek Freak was able to continue but make just one field goal the rest of the way

These two are going to have to come up big for the Heat tonight.

The Heats top scorer from last game Goran Dragic knows what to expect from the Bucks tonight

"They're going to pack the paint. Lopez is going to be in drop. He's going to be inside. So it's tough to score inside the paint or make lobs. I think that the biggest key for us is maybe to score more in the open floor in transition."

Bam Adebayo really struggled against the Bucks interior defense last game, going just 4 for 15 from the field. He will be instrumental if the Heat are going to have a chance to win in Milwaukee tonight.

Brooks Lopez talking about Middleton's performance on Saturday

"Obviously, first game of the playoffs, everybody's amped up. Big game. This could have been a preseason game to him. I think he would have been the same way in the moment, shooting the ball and everything."

Saturday's hero Khris Middleton took a blow to the mouth from Duncan Robinson in the OT period, but it wasn't enough to keep him from drilling the game winner with a half second left.

The Bucks warming up with a chance to make it 2-0 going to Miami with a win tonight

Giannis had a monster game on the glass, snagging 18 rebounds in Game 1

Ladies and Gentlemen the Bucks are in the building

The Bucks won the first of the four game series against the Heat by 47 points on December 30th, the the Heat bounced back the next night with a 119-108 victory. MIlwaukee won the final matchup of the regular season eight days ago before winning the OT thriller on Saturday..

The Heat shot well from downtown, connecting on 40% of their 50 three point attempts, but will need to get some more production close to the basket, look for them to try to push the pace of the game to get transition buckets.

Expect the Bucks to bang the ball inside as they did last game, when they dominated the Heat 56-24 in the paint.

There was nothing between these two teams in Game 1, will we see more of the same tonight?

We are just about an hour away from tipping off Game 2 from Fiserv Forum

Hello everyone and welcome to Milwaukee for Game 2 of the from the Fiserv Forum as the Bucks host the Heat after a thriller in the opener. AS English will keep you up to date with all the scores, highlights, stats and coverage of tonight’s battle.

Sunday's game went down to the wire

Saturday’s game, which was the first to tip off this year’s NBA Playoffs, was an instant classic. Overtime was needed in the Milwaukee’s fourth matchup against Miami this season. Khris Middleton was the hero two days ago as he knocked down a deep two with a half second left on the clock to hand the Bucks the late winner.

Middleton shines in playoff debut

Middleton was the top scorer in his first career playoff game dropping 27 points. The Bucks struggled from downtown on Saturday, shooting just 5 for 31 from behind the arc. Milwaukee made up for their shortcomings from three point land by pounding the ball on the inside, and outscoring the Heat 56-24 in the paint.

Giannis Antetokounmpo added to Middleton’s night with 26 points and 18 rebounds. Jrue Holiday registered a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Butler struggled from the field

Miami shot 50 three pointers in the series opener, hitting 40% from beyond the arc. Goran Dragic led the Heat with 25 points off the bench. Duncan Robinson followed up with 24 points, including seven triples.

Jimmy Butler had a night to forget for the Bulls, going just 4 of 22 from the field finishing the night with 17 points.

Miami’s top scorer this season, Butler,  will be looking to make amends for an off night while the defense will be keen on double teaming Giannis.

Antetokounmpo will be the focal point as he has been all year for the Bucks offense, but which supporting cast member will step up like Middleton did last game?
