According to The Athletic, the Roma coach has Getafe's Marc Cucurella in mind to reinforce the left flank. Brighton are also believed to be interested in the former Barcelona wing-back.
Brentford to set new club transfer record

José Sá in England to complete Wolves move
Portuguese goalkeeper José Sá is reported to have travelled to England to complete his move to Wolves, who he will join as replacement for Rui Patrício. The 28-year-old Olympiacos keeper is expected to join on a deal worth 7 million euros and will be the club's fourth signing of the summer, after Yerson Mosquera, Francisco Trincão and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Aloisi on board at Western United
Former Brisbane Roar manager John Aloisi has been named Western United's head coach for the next two seasons, the A-League club said on Thursday.
The former Australia striker managed Brisbane from 2015-18, leading them to a top-four finish in his first two seasons. The 45-year-old also previously worked at Melbourne Heart. He joins United after the club parted ways with coach Mark Rudan at the end of last season following a 10th-placed finish.
"In this role, I'm privileged not only to coach, but to be part of building a club and a football future for the people of the west," Aloisi said in a club statement.
Aloisi played 55 times for Australia and is best known for scoring the decisive penalty in 2005 which secured qualification for the World Cup the following year.
Xhaka close to Mourinho's Roma
The Swiss midfielder is a step away from completing his move to Roma. Mourinho has requested the Arsenal player and a deal worth 15 million euros plus 2.5M in add-ons is close to being sealed.
Benitez bid for Napoli's Koulibaly
According to reports in Italy, Everton have placed an undisclosed offer for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly. The defender, who turned 30 last month, is valued at around 48 million euros.
Inter need to offload 11 players
With Achraf's transfer to PSG, Inter have managed to reduce their wages bill considerably but they still need to get some salaries off the books. The club must sell 11 players to comply with a wage cap and have 80 million euros surplus after all of their transfer dealing. They need to slash their salaries by 15% according to Corriere dello Sport. Some players, such as Arturo Vidal present problems. Inter want to sell him because of his 6M euro salary but few clubs would be able to pay him something similar.
Brahim Díaz is poised to return to Milan. The 21-year-old knows that it will be difficult for him to get playing time at Real Madrid this season and the club is negotiating with AC Milan for him to return to Italy - the only option which the player considers would help to further his career.
Calò to Benevento on loan
