Austrian soccer player David Alaba signed with Real Madrid as a versatile player with experience and an impressive record. He will take on Sergio Ramos’ former number 4 soccer jersey after Ramos signed with PSG.
Alaba wants to be his own player for Madrid
Alaba recognized the importance of wearing the number 4 and told reporters that he is proud to wear it. He made sure to note that his intentions aren’t to compare himself to any other player. He said that it is a great motivation and honor for him to wear the number, but he wants everyone to know one thing: “I want to be David Alaba, and play my own game.”
Alaba is a top player in European soccer and has played for several different clubs with records to show for it. He has received 28 trophies, two of which are Champions Leagues, two Club World Cups, two European Super Cups, and 10 Bundesliga titles.
