Lionel Messi: Neymar reunion a major factor in PSG move
Messi's move to PSG means he'll play alongside Neymar once more, having previously shared the Barcelona dressing room with the Brazilian.
Paris Saint-Germain new boy Lionel Messi says former Barcelona team-mate Neymar's presence at the Parc des Princes played a significant role in the Argentina star agreeing to a move to the Ligue 1 club, where he has signed an initial two-year contract.
Speaking at his official unveiling by PSG on Wednesday, Messi said: "I know a lot of the people in the dressing room already and we had some contact about this move. Neymar of course did a lot and was important in my decision.”
Messi and Neymar played together at Barça for four years, before the latter joined PSG in August 2017 for a world-record fee of 222m euros.
