Lukaku finds Mount, his shot from the edge of the area is deflected and stopped by Leno, who has had a busy few minutes.

Leno saves superbly to keep Lukaku's header out.
Thankfully James is now back on his feet after getting attention from the Chelsea medical staff.
Reece James is down for Chelsea.
Kanté comes on to add even more energy to Chelsea's midfield.

Lukaku picks out James on the edge of the box. The effort is deflected out for a Chelsea corner. Arsenal can't get near Lukaku.
The ball falls to Kovacic and he blasts it over the bar. Holding has to do better there at the back. Arsenal are struggling to find a goal and it remains 0-2 to Chelsea.

Havertz has a shot in the box blocked by Holding. Nice feet to buy himself a yard but it's well defended.
Chelsea have flown out of the traps here with Lukaku causing more havoc.

Chelsea were excellent in the first half and lead through goals from Lukaku and James.

Chelsea work it from left to right. Mount picks out James on the right hand side of the box and the right-back fires a rocket past Leno to give his side a 2-goal lead.

Sambi shoots from the edge of the box and it whizzes over the Chelsea bar.
Lukaku has shown his class from the get-go. A very different forward to Werner - he is a true No.9 - playing off the last man and is causing the Arsenal defence many problems this evening.
Chelsea chance!
They attack so quickly. Reece James lays it off to Mount but his blocked shot goes out for a corner. Chelsea are growing in confidence now and looking like a team that are European champions.
LUKAKU!
The Belgian rises highest but he can't keep his header down and it flies over the bar.
Arsenal have been the better team so far. Arteta will be disappointed with the goal conceded but there is a long way to go here in London.
The pressure is off Lukaku now. He's back with a bang and will be feeling super confident after scoring into the empty net.

Chelsea are under some pressure here against the hosts. Pepe shows Alonso a clean pair of heels down the right wing and works a ball back inside. Sambi Lokonga has looked impressive so far in the Arsenal engine room. He has settled well since arriving from Anderlecht this summer.
Chelsea deal with a whipped cross from Tierney down the left wing. Sambi plays it back out to Tierney but Alonso is there to clear the danger. Good start by Arsenal. 0-0
Arsenal are pressing Chelsea's back three quite highly. Chelsea will have their work cut out trying to shift it into midfield from deep. Martinelli is the lone striker for the Gunners this evening.
Mount fouls Xhaka and it's a free to Arsenal.
Xhaka is down for Arsenal. He's dives across bravely to block a Chelsea shot and takes a blow to the head.

Saka knocks it down to Smith Rowe, who strikes from the edge of the box, but it's straight at Mendy.

Pulisic misses derby after covid-19 diagnosis
Chelsea's Christian Pulisic has tested positive for covid-19 and will miss Sunday's London derby against Arsenal.
The setback for the 22-year-old attacking midfielder came less than a week after he scored in the Blues' 3-0 win against Crystal Palace on the Premier League's opening weekend.
Pulisic also helped Chelsea last week lift the UEFA Super Cup, netting in the penalty shoot-out as Thomas Tuchel's Champions League winners edged out Villarreal for more silverware.
Chelsea in talks over Koundé move
According toFabrizio Romano, Chelsea are in direct contact with Sevilla for defender Jules Koundé. The Blues are set to make a new bid.

Ben White has been ruled out through covid-19. Martin Odegaard will have to wait for his first start since joining from Real Madrid during the week.

Arteta: Chelsea are a top team
In what has been a busy week for Arsenal, with the signings of Aaron Ramsdale and Martin Ødegaard, head coach Mikel Arteta gave his thoughts on Chelsea ahead of the match.
"Well from Chelsea we expect what they have done over the past few years, they are a top team, full of world-class players with a great manager. They are the champions of Europe. We expect a really competitive match, that's what I expect from our team. Our fans are going to be supporting our team, right behind them from the beginning because they have been missed so much, and we are going to go there to win the football match."
