Though the annual Oktoberfest was canceled this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Bayern Munich soccer team upheld the tradition as best as they could: by wearing lederhosen and holding pints of beer in their annual team photo.

These bizarre photos were taken as part of a promotion in partnership with the German brewery Paulaner. The German club has a long-term agreement with Paulaner and famously pour the beer on each other during celebrations (usuallty Bundesliga titles). The photo-shoot happens every season ahead of the famous beer festival in Munich, but usually not until September. Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann said, "Where I grew up, you can basically where lederhosen to church every Sunday."
