Florentino Pérez hasn't thrown in the towel and has increased the offer for Kylian Mbappé from the club's last bid of 160 million euros. This evening, Real Madrid made a new offer of 170 million euros plus a further 10 in bonuses. It is Madrid's final offer. The club will not make any further bids for the player. With this latest move, Real Madrid's president wants to send two messages. One to PSG, who admitted that the clubs were in negotiations from the moment that Leonardo set a minimum fee for the transfer, and another to the player to let him know that he has the full support and trust of the club where he has chosen to play.

Diario AS contacted Real Madrid early this evening to find out if there was any truth in the offers reported in French media. The club assured that they are working on a new offer. Just a few minutes ago, El Chiringuito reported the new conditions which can be confirmed by AS via club sources who also dismissed the information coming out of France.

Florentino won't rise to Leonardo's provocation

Leonardo's accusations that Madrid had been meddling in their dealings with Mbappé have not gone down well at the Spanish club. Above all, because PSG are not in a position to attack other clubs regarding tapping up players. An obvious example was their dealings with Donnarumma when he was still an AC Milan player. And also about how they have not respected Financial Fair Play rules. Madrid however will not reply to the accusations, unless Al-Khelaïfi decides to comment which would make the situation even more awkward.

Florentino is not interested in entering into a war, his sole objective is to sign Mbappé. Everything else is irrelevant. He does not want to be deviated from his original plan. With this latest offer he wants to show that Madrid's interest in Mbappé is reciprocated, and that he is prepared to make a fair offer but has no intention of responding to provation. His only concernis that Mbappé is able to reach his objective - leave PSG and play for Real Madrid.
