Matt Stafford continues to impress in his first few games as a Los Angeles Ram. He faced off against the defending Super Bowl Champions and the greatest quarterback of all time and didn’t bat an eyelash. Brady had a big statistical day, but got no help from his running backs.

Los Angeles Rams skill players:

Matt Stafford QB: 8.5

It was arguably the biggest game of his career. Sure he has been to the playoffs, but the Lions were never expected to go deep in the playoffs. He’s with the Rams now, and expectations are soaring. What did he do against the defending Super Bowl Champions? He had 343 yards and touchdowns. Great show on a huge day for Stafford.

Sony Michel RB: 4.5

Started on Sunday after Darrell Henderson was ruled out. Didn’t do much, because he didn’t have to. Most of his 67 yards came later on in the game when the Rams were looking to run some clock.

Cooper Kupp WR: 7.5

It’s no secret that Kupp is Stafford’s favorite target. The Bucs knew that, but still couldn’t stop him. He caught nine passes for 96 yards and a couple touchdowns. He’s going to be a key to the Rams success all season long, and expect he and Stafford’s understanding to get even better.

Robert Woods WR: 3

Not a very active night for Woods. Just three receptions for 33 yards, and played a small part in the rushing game.

Van Jefferson WR: 4

He caught four passes, and had 42 yards but was overshadowed by Jackson and Kupp.

Desesan Jackson WR: 7.5

Only had three receptions, but he made the most of them. A 75 yard TD reception to start the second half set the tone for the rest of the game. He had another long catch and run of 40 yards finish his night with three receptions and 120 yards with one TD.

Tyler Higbee TE: 6

Broke open the scoring with a six yard TD reception. Had five receptions for a total of 40 yards. He’s a viable option for Stafford. He did have a fumble, but fortunately for he and the Rams it was recovered by LA.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers skill players:

Tom Brady QB: 7

Despite being under constant pressure from a ferocious defense, he still passed for 432 yards on 41/55 passing. He had one rushing touchdown and one passing touchdown, but it wasn’t enough as the Bucs spent the entire game chasing the Rams. He also led the Bucs in rushing with 14 yards.

Fournette RB: 1

Ran just four times for eight yards and was out rushed by his 44 year old quarterback.

Giovani Bernard RB: 5

Did more in the passing game than he did with the running game. Led the Bucs with 9 receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown. He was hurt diving into he end zone, after getting hit in the knee. He walked off the field on his own.

Mike Evans WR: 6

Evans did have a hundred yards receiving on eight receptions, but was caught on the sideline visibly upset for not being targeted more. It was a fitting depiction of the Bucs night, decent stats but blanketed by frustration.

Chris Godwin WR: 6

Godwin got his first career rushing touchdown to open the scoring for the Bucs in the first half. Had a nice night with six receptions for 74 yards.

Tyler Johnson WR: 5

With Antonio Brown out the Bucs turned to Johnson. He had three catches for 63 yards, including a long of 31 yards.

Rob Gronkowski TE: 4

Gronk was injured in the Bucs touchdown drive in the third quarter. He came back and caught a few passes late in the game that didn’t amount to much. He ended the game with four catches for 55 yards.
