Prescott has been sensational in the early parts of the season, and he was against Philadelphia on an emotional night for the quarterback who suffered a season ending injury over 11 months ago. Dak Prescott is back, and might be playing his best football every after an injury that kept hime out 11 months

The battle out of the NFC East has become one of the most bitter rivalries in the league.

Hello everyone and welcome to AT&T Stadium for tonight's contest between the Eagles and the Cowboys

It’s a clash of 1-1’s in the NFC East as the Philadelphia Eagles travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys as division play starts for the two eternal rivals. AS English will be with you every step of the way with live coverage, updates, stats and scores from tonight’s Monday night matchup from AT&T Stadium.

Dallas seconds away from being undefeated

The Cowboys have a .500 record but could easily be coming into Week 3 undefeated if it weren’t for some Tom Brady heroics in the final moments of the season opener from Raymond James Stadium.

Dallas played the Buccanneers even from beginning to end. The only thing the Cowboys did wrong in that game was score with too time left on the fourth quarter clock. Brady led yet another one of his famous last minute drives to win the game and hand the Cowboys their first loss of the season.

Dak is back

Dak Prescott made his return in the season opener 11 months after dislocating and fracturing his ankle, against the Giants. He passed for over 400 yards in his return and threw three touchdowns.

In Week 2 the Cowboys were able to squeak past the Los Angeles Chargers after a drive late in the game that led to a game winning Greg Zuerline Field goal from 56 yards.

Prescott had a more modest game last week, throwing for 237 yards and no touchdowns, but he got a big boost from the running game which was nonexistent in the opening week. Tony Pollard had 109 yards on 13 carries and Ezekiel Elliott had 71 yards to help Dallas to get back to even on the season.

Eagles started season soaring

The Eagles came out with a promising performance to start their season. A 32-6 waxing of the Atlanta Falcons gave the City of Brotherly Love much to believe in, not just in their team but in second year quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Hurts had three touchdowns and 264 yards in the air to go along with 62 yards rushing to start the season. Rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith led all receivers with six catches for 71 yards and a touchdown.

Philly’s game last week wasn’t as pretty or as promising for the Eagles. The score was even ugly. They lost 17-11 at home to the San Francisco 49ers. They went without a touchdown in the first three quarters, and scored a consolation one late on in the fourth.

Hurts leading Philly in rushing yards

Hurts went 12/23 for 190 yards, and led the Eagles with 82 rushing yards on 10 carries. He and Quez Watkings were the only bright spots in an otherwise dull game offensively for Philly.

Both teams running games will have to rise to the challenge tonight and for the rest of the season. Dak Prescott has a few more resources to work with if Elliott and Pollard have an off night. But Hurts with need guys like Miles Sanders and Kennth Gainwell to produce against the Cowboys in order to take some of the pressure off the sophomore quarterbacks shoulders.

Tonights game from AT&T Stadium is set for kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast on ESPN.
