The Dallas Cowboys controlled Monday night’s game from start to finish as the secured their second win, and first divisional win of the season in their home opener. Dak Prescott was locked in, and Ezekiel Elliott showed flashes of his old self in the Cowboys win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cowboys skill players:

Dak Prescott QB: 8.

If you take away the strip sack in the end zone, Prescott would have had a near perfect night. It was surely an emotional game for the Dallas QB who fractured and dislocated his ankle in the same stadium he returned to on Monday. He went 21/26 for 238 yards and three touchdowns.

Ezekiel Elliott RB: 7

Elliott had his first solid game of the 2021 season. There was a lot of chatter about him perhaps losing his job rookie Tony Pollard after Pollard’s bright start to the season, but Elliott silenced those speculators with a 17 carry, 95 yard night in which he scored two touchdowns.

Tony Pollard RB: 6

Another comforting outing in the eyes of Cowboys fans. He’s a perfect compliment to Elliott who is a powerful, contact driven running back. Pollard is the lightening to Elliott’s thunder, and he had 11 carries for 60 yards.

CeeDee Lamb WR: 5.5

Lamb had just 3 catches, but his 44 yard reception in the opening drive set up the first score of the game. He finished the game with 66 yards

Amari Cooper WR: 3.5

Was barley mentioned during Monday night’s broadcast. He had 3 catches for 26 yards.

Cedrick Wilson WR: 4

Wilson had just 2 catches, but made the most of his few targets with a TD on fourth and goal early in the 4th quarter.

Dalton Schultz TE: 7.5

Had his best game of the season, and seemed to be who Dak looked to every time the Cowboys needed a play. He showed great hands, and fantastic mobility in his first touchdown of the night. He finished the game with six receptions, 80 yards and two touchdowns.

Eagles skill players:

Jalen Hurts QB: 5

The 326 yards may look ok on the stat line, but the Eagles were chasing the game all night. His two interceptions heavily outweighed his two touchdowns, luckily for him one of them was turned into a defensive touchdown just a few plays later.

Miles Sanders RB: 3

You can’t really blame Sanders for not having a better game, he rushed the ball just twice all night for a total of 27 yards, and had 3 receptions for 28 yards.

Kenneth Gainwell WR: 2.5

Just one rush for the RB2 of the Eagles. Had three receptions for 32 yards as well, but neither running back had a chance tonight.

DeVonta Smith WR: 3.5

Just three catches for the former Heisman winner for a total of 28 yards. Was blanketed by the Cowboys defense most of the night, but dropped a few he should have reeled in.

Jalen Reagor WR: 4.5

Had five catches, and seems to be building chemistry with Hurts, but his 53 yards weren’t enough to make a difference on the offensive end.

Quez Watkins WR: 3

Connected with Hurts on a bomb down field for 41 yards, but that was the last we heard from him. He had just two catches for 46 yards.

Zach Ertz TE: 5.5

Hurts will want this relationship to grow. Ertz has been Mr. Consistent for Philly for too long to remember. Had four catches for 53 yards and a touchdown.

Dallas Goedert TE: 5

Showed some explosive play ebility with two catches for 38 yards and 28 yards. He and Ertz will be useful resources for Hurts this season.
