Every year the DC universe is the centre of an online global gathering as some of the biggest names in entertainment come together to announce upcoming films and games.

Every year DC FanDome brings together fans from around the world for a global virtual event, with live webcasts and online activities. For one day only, the biggest movies, games, shows and comics in the DC universe will feature in a jam-packed line up.

This year the four-hour event will take place on Saturday, October 16, starting at 10am PT or 1pm ET. For those watching in the UK, that’s a 6pm BST start.

The show will be streamed for free on the DC Comics YouTube and Twitch channels. If you’re a little late, don’t worry: the full stream will be available to watch on demand on the DC FanDome website.

Early sneak peaks suggest that The Batman, The Flash and Harley Quinn will all star in the special event, which will feature exclusive interviews with some of the franchise’ biggest names.

What is in the schedule for DC FanDome 2021?

Last year DC released a full schedule ahead of the big day but this time the exact order of the event will be a surprise. However an impressive line up of actors, directos and other key figures in the DC cinematic world will be taking part in the event.

More than 100 stars have already been confirmed to appear in DC FanDome 2021. Here’s some of the biggest names who you won’t want to miss…

  • The Batman director Matt Reeves and stars Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz will be in attendance, and DC have confirmed that the hotly-anticipated trailer will finally see the light of day.
  • Patty Jenkins, director of Wonder Woman, will also be appearing, giving fans reason to believe that the confirmation of Wonder Woman 3 may be on the cards.
  • Actor Xolo Maridueña, the star of new DC film Blue Beetle, is set to appear alongside the movie’s director Angel Manuel Soto and writer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. DC have also confirmed that there will be mentions for Shazam: Fury of the Gods, The Flash, and Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom.
  • J.J. Abrams will also be involved in DC FanDome, as he continues to work on a new Superman movie and Justice League Dark. A number of extremely popular comic creatives are also on the bill: Jim Lee, Scott Snyder, Todd McFarlane and John Ridley will have some role to play in the big event.
  • Eager to provide something for everyone, the gaming fraternity will also be catered for with Rocksteady’s Kill the Justice League likely to get a preview at FanDome. So too will Gotham Knights, which follows the Bat-Family in Gotham after Batman’s supposed death.
