Update:
Mauro Icardi absent from PSG training after split with Wanda Nara

Argentine businesswoman Wanda Nara has announced her split from Argentine footballer Mauro Icardi after cheating allegations. The striker had been linked with a move from PSG to Newcastle United, however, Wanda was reportedly the main obstacle in a deal going ahead as she did not want to live in the English city.

Owing to the separation, the Premier League outfit could once again have the possibility of signing the Argentine forward. Icardi has spent most of the season on the bench following the arrival of Lionel Messi at PSG. Up until a few days ago, he had no plans to move from the French capital, as, according to The Sun, Wanda Nara did not want to swap France for England. His split from Nara opens up more possibilities for a move, with several top clubs looking for a number 9 of his profile.

Icardi misses PSG training after split with Nara

Icardi has been in the news again for the recent split with the mother of his two daughters. Nara left the French capital on Sunday morning and the former Inter player was absent from PSG training.

According to L'Équipe, Icardi's reason for not training today is purely emotional. He is not injured and is said to be very negatively affected by her decision to leave Paris, with their children. The incident comes just two days before the Champions League clash against RB Leipzig in which Icardi could be ruled out of after missing training.

Navas could miss Champions League clash

Keylor Navas is likely to miss the Champions League game after picking up an injury with Costa Rica during the international break and both Sergio Ramos and Leandro Paredes, who is suffering from muscle soreness, have already been confirmed as absentees.
