Best NFL players from week 6 (that aren't quarterbacks)

Picking the best quarterbacks each week is pretty simple and they are usually more or less the same. But who were the MVPs of week six at other positions?

Update:
Best NFL players from week 6 (that aren't quarterbacks)

Week six was an entertaining one with three overtime games, close calls, and crazy good individual player performances. Some of the players who have really stood out to me haven’t been on the offense at all. Of course, you can’t ignore the star quarterbacks who have great games nearly every week, but actually, that’s exactly what I’m going to do now. My top five MVPs (besides QBs) of week six include two offensive players and three defensive players.

Cooper Kupp , Wide Receiver, Rams

Kupp has been better than ever this season now that he’s fully healthy and able to play to his full potential. In only six games, he’s caught 46 passes for 653 yards and seven touchdowns. In week six, the Rams beat the Giants 38-11, much thanks to Kupp, who caught nine of 12 targets for 130 yards and two touchdowns. He continues to be highly targeted as well as maximizing on those targets to bring in points.

Derrick Henry, Running Back, Titans

Henry did something incredible in week six…he ran faster than any NFL player has run all season long. He is a big guy at 6-foot-3 and nearly 250 pounds, so you wouldn’t expect him to be the guy to outrun an entire Bills defense, but that is exactly what he did. On a handoff from Ryan Tannehill, Henry ran the ball for a 76-yard touchdown at a maximum speed of 21.8 miles per hour. That size AND that speed? Henry is one of the best running backs in the NFL right now, leading the league in rushing yards by a whopping 260 yards. He also managed three touchdowns against the Bills. He deserves to be an MVP candidate this week and really any week.

T.J. Watt, Outside Linebacker, Steelers

T.J. Watt had a pretty exciting night on Sunday when the Steelers played the Seahawks. He made seven tackles. He recorded three tackles for a loss. He deflected three passes. He sacked Seattle’s QB twice AND had two hits. He forced one fumble. And then he also threw four punches. That’s right…punches. He tried to get the ball from Alex Collins and started upper cutting and eventually giving straight up haymakers. It did cost the team an Unnecessary Roughness penalty, but in the end, they still love him because it was his strip-sack in the fourth quarter that helped lead the team into overtime and eventually win 23-20.

Trevon Diggs, Cornerback, Cowboys

There was a lot of back-and-forth going on in the Cowboys vs Patriots game and just when it seemed like the Cowboys were doomed, in swooped Diggs with yet another pick-six. That particular interception happened at a crucial time with less than three minutes in the game, then putting the teams into overtime and leading to the Cowboys win. Not only that, but it also meant Diggs had just tied an NFL record with seven interceptions in six games. At just 23 years old, the cornerback has the most interceptions in the NFL by three.

Myles Garrett, Defensive End, Browns

Though the Browns couldn’t defeat the unbeaten Cardinals, Garrett had himself an impressive game. He had three tackles and a sack on Sunday against Arizona. The sack to close the pocket on Kyler Murray right at the start of the second half was Garret’s eighth this season. The Browns defensive end is now on par to reach 20 or more sacks in the season if he keeps it up.
