In week 7, the Titans were able to keep the Chiefs completely out of the end zone in a 27-3 loss and another poor performance by the Chiefs. The Bengals took down the division leaders with a huge 41-17 defeat over the Ravens. The Patriots had a huge blow-out win against the rival Jets, and the Bucs saw Tom Brady throw his 600th career touchdown pass in their 38-3 win over the Chicago Bears.

The Titans hold the Chiefs to zero touchdowns

The Chiefs have been struggling this season and though they gained a little bit of momentum last week against the Washington Football Team, they completely lost it and then some against the Tennessee Titans. The first half was full of turnovers and poor defense that was impossible for them to come back from.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was hit hard on a sack and fumble in the fourth quarter when the tackler’s knee went right into his facemask, but it’s been reported that he has passed the concussion protocol.

Bengals make a statement in the AFC

The Bengals took down their AFC North rival in a huge 41-17 win over the Ravens to claim first place in the division. Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase, both LSU alums, had huge games. Though Burrow struggled against the Ravens defense last season, this time, he passed for 416 yards and three touchdowns against them. Chase caught eight passes and had his first 200-yard career game.

Patriots pummel the Jets into the ground

The Patriots completely destroyed their rival Jets, which is a game they really needed to prove what they can do. Both teams were looking rough before the game, and though the Jets were looking worse, the Patriots barely squeezed out a win over the lowly Texans. Jets QB Zach Wilson was injured during the game and if he misses significant time, it would be a huge setback for the Jets going forward.

Tom Brady becomes first QB in NFL history to throw for 600 TDs

The Bucs held the Bears out of the end zone throughout the four quarters. Tom Brady threw four touchdown passes to set that record. Three of his passes were to Mike Evans, who gave away the football to a fan, not realizing it was a record pass.

The Bears, meanwhile have dropped to 3-4 after a poor performance and QB Justin Fields’ worst career performance so far.
