Rayo beat Barcelona in Vallecas!

Gavi is all alone and fires wide...

98

GAVI!

He misses from eight yards out...

97

Aguero hits the side netting with a header. The whole stadium went quiet for 10 seconds but Rayo might just hold on.

96

Nteka goes all alone and sees his shot blocked. Unai López was wide open on the left.

95

Catena heads over from a Rayo corner. It remains 1-0!

92

Busquets plays in Luuk de Jong down the right. Dimitrievski runs off his line, the Dutchman lobs the keeper but his effort hits the top of the net. It wasn't the cleanest strike.

90+

There will be 8 minutes added on at the Estadio de Vallecas!

90+

Nteka heads for the corner. Rayo slow it down and play the ball back to their defence.

In 2002, Rayo beat Barcelona twice in the league. That was the last time they beat the Blaugrana!

70

Barcelona need a change as they continue to find themselves behind. It looks like Gavi is going to come in.

65

Fran García is down with blood on his hand. Nico stands on the Rayo player in what does look like an accidental incident.

63

Rayo change:

OFF Santi Comesana

ON Unai Lopez

62

Alba crosses to Coutinho. The Brazilian shoots from 12 yards like a player playing with no confidence. He hits it first time and sends it well wide.

60

Barcelona change:

OFF Sergi Roberto

ON Yusuf Demir

57

Alba is down for Barcelona and he's in agony. Barca will surely be making a change here. It was an accidental challenge with Isi and looks to be his ankle. Demir is warming up for Barcelona.

55

AGUERO!

Dest lays it off to Aguero on the right-hand side of the box. The Argentine blasts over the Rayo bar. Rayo lead 1-0.

52

Mateu Lahoz books Coutinho for a foul on Isi. The Brazilian has had better nights!

49

Huge chance for Barcelona!

Barca go route one, long to Nico who fires his shot wide of the Rayo goal. Great chance for the away team!

We're underway for the second half!

The players are back out on the pitch for the second half.

HT: Rayo 1-0 Barcelona

Rayo lead at the break thanks to Falcao's first half strike. The home side fully deserve to be ahead.

41

Álvaro García gets past Sergi Roberto on the inside left channel. His left-footed strike is hit well but goes high and wide. More positive play from the home side. Iraola won't want the half-time whistle to come.

40

Barca have yet to have a shot on target in this first half.

38

Barcelona's defence is sitting quite deep here. Busquets is playing right in front of them and there's a big gap between their defence and midfield for Rayo to exploit.

36

Dest misses a sitter for Barca. Memphis does brilliantly down the left and sends in a low cross for Dest, who blasts over from six yards out.

Óscar Trejo is having a super season too. He now has two goals and six assists from midfield this season.

That's Falcao's fourth goal of the season!

Trejo with the assist.

30

Falcao scores once again and it's another magnificent goal from El Tigre. 1 v 1 with Piqué, he cuts onto his left foot and sends a low strike in off the far posr to put the home side ahead.

Goooooooooooooaaal!

Falcao opens the scoring for Rayo.

26

Dest, operating in a right-wing role, cuts inside onto his left foot and strikes low but it hits the side-netting.

24

Trejo picks up a yellow for fouling Nico.

23

Nico has been impressive in the engine room for Barcelona. It remains 0-0.

The Colombian striker turns on the edge of the box, before unleashing a left-footed strike from 20 yards. Piqué gets in the way and a deflection off the centre-back goes just past Ter Stegen's post and out for a corner.

20

FALCAO goes close Rayo!

19

Rayo are playing with a traditional 4-4-2 at home this evening. Their home record is outstanding, with four wins from four so far this season.

18

Barcelona have completed 121/140 passes in the opening 18 minutes.

15

Aguero goes past Dimitrievski on the edge of the box and falls over but it's waved on. Barca wanted a penalty but there was no contact in that one.

Chants of "Presa vete ya" (Presa go now) ring around the Estadio de Vallecas. Rayo fans continue to show their frustration with club owner Raúl Martín Presa.

13

Sergi Roberto whips in a low cross from the right. Saveljich clears for a corner. Rayo clear the resulting corner through Isi.

11

Sergio Busquets goes for a 50-50 ball with Falcao and the Spain international handles the ball on the way up. Free-kick to the home side.

9

MEMPHIS!

The ball falls to the Dutchman at the edge of the area after Nico nicked it off Trejo. His snapshot goes wide of the Rayo goal. 0-0

7

Good play by Rayo down the left sees Fran Garcia cross to the near post. Ter Stegen is out to win the ball.

Nico is playing just ahead of Busquets in midfield for Barcelona. Coutinho is ahead of both.

3

Trejo tries to lob Ter Stegen from the halfway line but the German shot-stopper catches the lob. Well, that would have been embarrassing for the Barca keeper. It was just like Beckham for Manchester United against Wimbledon all those years ago.

Barcelona have set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Dest is playing high on the right.

Barcelona are playing from right to left as we watch it. Rayo are in their traditional white and red and play from left to right in this first half.

We're underway in Vallecas!

Ancelotti hits out Barca fans who showed Koeman 'a lack of respect'

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has criticised a group of Barcelona supporters who mobbed Ronald Koeman's car after Sunday's Clásico.

"It is a lack of respect for the person, not for the coach. Koeman is not a coach, he is a person who works as a coach," Ancelotti told the media ahead of Madrid's LaLiga meeting with Osasuna on Wednesday.

"It is not a problem of football, but of society, of rudeness.

"A friend who is also a coach told me that the best life for a coach is when there are no games. It is a beautiful life, we like to train. Criticism is normal, but disrespect is annoying on a personal level.

"When you are a child they teach you, at least to me, if you want to be respected you have to [show] respect."
