Boorito event: how to get Chipotle's Halloween deal 2021

For the 21st celebration of its annual “Boorito” Halloween event, Chipotle is opening a “virtual restaurant” in Roblox for fans to visit. When participants visit the restaurant the can explore the Chipotle Boorito Maze where they can dress their avatars in costumes inspired by the brand and gain access to exclusive offers for gamers.

Fans of the two-decade old event can still enjoy the Halloween event without going into Roblox. Once again the restaurant chain is offering a $5 burrito, bowl, salad, or taco entrée through a digital-only promo code, and no need to wear a costume again this year.

Where to get the “Boorito” Halloween Roblox promos from Chipotle

Starting 28 October and running through Halloween, Chipotle will be giving away $1 million in free burritos. In order to get your hands on one, you’ll need to visit the virtual restaurant in Roblox dressed up in costume. Before customers enter the restaurant they will be offered a chance to try on Chipotle-inspired Halloween-theme costumes, including a Chip Bag Ghost, Burrito Mummy, Spicy Devil, Guacenstein and more. There will also be special accessories available for avatars from Chipotle.

Each day, the first 30,000 customers, beginning at 6:30 pm ET/3:30 pm PT, who visit the cashier in costume can score a promo code for a free burrito redeemable through 14 November at any location in the US and Canada. However, just one promo code will be given out per player. Roblox users need only go to www.roblox.com/chipotle.

Real world “Boorito” promo code

For those that aren’t into the virtual world and don’t fancy donning a costume you can still use a digital-only promo code "BOORITO" through the Chipotle app and at Chipotle.com to use through the online checkout. Customers can use the promo code for one $5 burrito, bowl, salad, or taco entrée only on Halloween, 31 October. The offer will be good from 5 pm until close but cannot be used for in-restaurant dining and only one promo will be allowed per transaction.

Chipotle Boorito Maze benefits a good cause

Along with debuting the virtual restaurant in Roblox, Chipotle will let guests roam through a Halloween-themed corn maze on the gaming platform. Gamers can enter the Chipotle Boorito Maze to uncover and collect ingredients that give them special powers. These will come in handy to ward off monsters for the final goal, reaching the center of the maze.

Exclusive Chipotle-inspired Roblox items will be rewarded to those who make it to the maze’s center. Chipotle will donate its share of proceeds from items sold in-game to a cause that supports young farmers.
