Giannis Antetokounmpo leads Bucks to 118-109 victory over the 76ers
After a much-needed break with a trip to the White House, the Milwaukee Bucks got an equally much-needed win over the 76ers on Tuesday night.
The Bucks were off to a slow start on Tuesday against the 76ers. Giannis Antetokounmpo only had 12 points in the first half and five of 13 shooting. He picked up speed in the second half though and ended the game with 31 points and 12 for 26 shooting.
The Greek Freak leads Bucks to clutch victory in fourth quarter
The pivotal moment came in the fourth quarter, he blocked a shot by Shake Milton and Grayson Allen quickly came back with the return to Giannis, who then took it down the court and dunked it to give the Bucks a 99-96 lead. The 76ers weren’t giving up easy though and they came back to be up by one. Giannis wasn’t having it though, and he forced Milton to speed through a floater which bounced off the rim, took off with the rebound, and assisted Portis on a go-ahead three-pointer to put the Bucks up again, and up they would stay for the remainder of the game. It was his two free throws and an assist which basically sealed the deal with 90 seconds left in the game.
The Bucks needed this win after losing five out of the last six games before it.
