However, motivations tend to vary on a variety of factors. For example, flexibility tended to be a stronger motivator for those with higher incomes and advanced degrees.

The survey found that seventy-two percent of workers making under $30,000 a year planned to find a new job, while the rate among people with incomes over $80,000 was forty-forty percent.

Inequities in raises uncovered

A new poll from Bankrate, a financial news organization, found that more than half -- fifty-six percent -- of workers have not received a pay increase in the last year.
