LA Galaxy and Jonathan dos Santos part ways
The team with the most league titles (5) confirmed that the Mexican international will not return for the 2022 Major League Soccer campaign.

His best campaign was in 2019 when playing alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic helped the Galaxy return to the MLS Cup playoffs, but failed to lift the title. In that season Dos Santos managed to stay injury-free, scoring two goals and providing three assists in 29 appearances. He even scored a goal in the playoffs, but the team were eliminated in the second round by LAFC.
Since the 2020 MLS regular season Jonathan started suffering several injuries that prevented him from playing most of the games. In that year he only made 13 appearances, seven as a starter, and only played 699 minutes. This campaign was no different and his future is up in the air.
